As of 23 June, Korea's beaches will begin the summer season starting with Wando's Myeongsasimni Beach in Jeollanam-do and Taean's Mallipo, Hagampo Beach in Chungcheongnam-do.

June Week 4 : Wando Myeongsasimni, located at the very tip of Namdo, and Taean's Mallipo Beach and Hagampo Beach with their famous rias coastline and the many rich gifts of nature are a popular summer destination. They begin their summer seaon on 23 June. Seohaean's largest Daecheon Beach will open on 24 June.

June Week 5 : Muchangpo Beach is famous for its enchanting sea route, and will begin its summer season coming 25 June. The 3km white sands and thick pine forest decorates Mongsanpo Beach which begins its summer season on 30 June. Taean's Kkotji Beach with its famous sunset, Busan's Haeundae Beach with the larget number of summer visitors, Seocheon's Chunjang Beach, Jeju's Seogwipo, Jungmun, Hamdeok, Hyuepjae, and Iho Beaches, all begin their summer season coming 1 July.

July Week 1 : Sokcho Beach in Gangwon-do opens on 7 July, Incheon's most famous Silmi Beach opens 1 July, Gunsan's Seonnyudo Beach opens on 7 July, Buan's Sangnok, Gyeokpo, Byeonsan, Gosapo, Wido, Mohang, all begin their summer seasons sometime between 8-10 July. Yeosu's Mangseongni Beach and Bangjukpo Beach open on 8 July.

July Week 2 : Yangyang-gun's Naksan Beach begins its summer season on 9 July. Gangneung's Gyeongpo Beach with its famous sunset and Donghae's Mangsang Beach and Samcheon Beach all begin their summer season on 10 July. Junggu and Ganghwa-gun area's 10 beaches in Incheon and 20 beaches in Ongjin-gun will begin their summer seasons sometime between 1-15 July. Wando's Bogildo Beach and Yeonggwang's Gamami Beach willl open sometime between 10-14 July.
