How to catch domestic flight from Incheon airport (heading to Gimpo Airport)

If you are EPIK teacher who assigned for BUSAN, DAEGU and JEJU (EPIK Spring 2011), you must come to GIMHAE Airport (BUSAN) and here is informatoin how to catch domestic flight if you will arrive Incheon airport.

If you have been assigned to the Busan orientation, your final destination is Gimhae International Airport in Busan.  If your connecting flight to Gimhae departs from Gimpo Airport in Seoul, rather than Incheon International Airport, you need to take an Airport Limousine Bus from Incheon Airport to Gimpo Airport.. Please follow these instructions to take an Airport Limousine Bus to Gimpo Airport:

1.First, you need to find an airport bus ticket booth. There are several ticket booths dispersed throughout the arrivals floor (1st floor) which can be found between Gates 2 and 3, Gates 4 and 5, Gates 8 and 9, and Gates 12 and 13. Look for the illuminated blue sign above the desk which reads “Airport Bus Ticket”

2.Next, you need to purchase a bus ticket for Gimpo Airport(김포공항 – pronounced Gimpo Gonghang).  It is bus #6105 to Gimpo Airport, and the fee is 7,000 won.

3.Once you have your ticket, you need to find the correct bus stop.  The bus stop is indicated on your bus ticket by a combination of letters and numbers.  For the bus to Gimpo Airport, the ticket should state “3B, 10A”, which means you can board the bus at either bus stop 3B or bus stop 10A.  The number represents the gate number closest to the bus stop. The letter “A” indicates the bus stop is to the left of the gate, and “B” indicates that the bus stop is to the right of the gate. For instance, you can find the correct bus stop by exiting the airport at gate 3, turning right, and locating the sign which reads “3B”.

4.After you arrive at the correct gate, you need to board the bus for Gimpo Airport.  The bus number should be 6105, and the destination should be printed on the bus stop sign. The sign will also indicate the departure time.  If the sign reads “1500, 20, 40”, that means buses will be departing at 3:00, 3:20 and 3:40 PM.  Make sure you check the bus number before boarding.

5. Finally, the bus will arrive at Gimpo Airport in Seoul. The bus should take you directly to the departures floor where you will be able to find your way to the gate where your flight to Gimhae will be departing.  Our staff will be waiting to meet you at the international terminal at Gimhae Airport in Busan.
